FAS grade North American basswood lumber surfaced on both sides, kiln-dried and ready to use. It is very light, fairly soft and glues well, has little or no grain. Sold in random widths 6" -9" and lengths 3' - 6'. Sold per square foot.

Calculating square footage: Square footage can be calculated with the following formula:
Sq. ft. = Length (in inches) x width (in inches) divided by 144.
Example: A board that measures 6" wide and 4 feet long would be calculated as follows: 6 x 48 =288 divided by 144 = 2. This board measures a total of 2 square feet.
