The Detail Saw with ebony handle was designed for the fine, precise cuts required to train the most expensive Bonsai trees. However, craftsmen working with bamboo and thin wood have discovered its fine cutting qualities. This saw is perfect for dovetails and other cuts in small, thin work. The blade is exceedingly thin, and its tapered design allows working into the tightest of areas. The handle is made from fine quality Macassar Ebony attached to the blade by brass rivets. The blade length is 5", overall length is 10" with 25 teeth/inch.
