Exposure to insects, water, or UV sunlight can rot wood. These factors can weaken the wood and contribute to aging and deterioration of the wood. The ROT-TERMINATOR™ is useful for replacement of missing wood fibers or wood resin. ROT-TERMINATOR™ fills the voids in the wood with an elastomer that has strength greater than wood. Typical wood resin has low tensile and compressive properties when compared to cured epoxy polymer in wood. The epoxy acts as a binder that glues the wood fibers together. The wood fibers become much stronger in combination with the epoxy elastomer.
