This is the finest lumber a craftsman can buy. Technically, it is grade FAS, known as firsts and seconds. It is kiln-dried to minimize shrinkage warping and checking, surfaced 2 sides (S2S) and ripped 2 edges (R2E), exactly to the listed dimensions. FAS grade contains a minimal allowance for defects, which for the most part we have already cut out before you receive your wood.
